Small batch from the beginning.
Maria’s House Made Salsa started in our family restaurant in Metro Detroit, where fresh salsa was made every day and served with everything. What began as one recipe quickly turned into six, built from customer requests, late nights in the kitchen, and plenty of trial and error until the flavor was exactly where it needed to be.
Before long, customers started asking to take it home.
So we made that happen.
We stepped out of the restaurant and into small-batch manufacturing, keeping the same recipes, the same ingredients, and the same approach that made the salsa stand out in the first place. No shortcuts, no watered-down flavors, and no changing what worked just to make it easier.
Through our family company, we work with food entrepreneurs to develop, produce, and package their sauces and condiments. It’s what we do every day — building recipes, running batches, and making sure every product comes out the way it should.
That experience goes into everything we make.
